PSG's Italian midfielder, Marco Verratti, recently gave a long interview for the newspaper L'ÉQUIPE, in which, among the topics discussed, he spoke about his style of play.
"I don't play to score", said the Italian before continuing: "I play for the team to play well. But in today's football, it's good to score 5, 6, 7 goals per season... Then it also depends on the team you play for", he declared.
While Verratti is not a goalscoring midfielder, he recently made history at the Parc des Princes by scoring a brace in PSG's 4-0 victory over Reims on January 23.
