The injuries of PSG and Real Madrid two weeks after their match

Two weeks before the match between PSG and Real Madrid, Neymar and Sergio Ramos are waiting to be examined to find out if they will be able to play in the round of 16.

The presence of three great players for the meeting between PSG and Real Madrid is uncertain, two weeks before the Champions League round of 16 clash. Although, according to L'ÉQUIPE, Neymar has not yet touched the ball, he would be in time to play against the merengue team.

In a press release published last week, PSG explains that the Brazilian winger, injured on November 28, "has completed a first career cycle in the axis and tests will be carried out this Monday to validate the rest of his program".

Therefore, in theory, he was going to be tested yesterday, but the results have not been revealed at the moment. Sergio Ramos is the second uncertain Parisian star for this match. Against Nice, Mauricio Pochettino clarified that the defender is suffering from a muscle injury to his right calf.

Although, the Spanish press used this statement and the club's press release to ensure the absence of Sergio Ramos for PSG vs. Real Madrid, at the moment it is not like that. The ex-Madrid player's injury will be reassessed in the middle of the week to determine a recovery time.

On the side of the merengue team, an injury shakes the entire Spanish capital. Ferland Mendy injured his adductors in training. The French international would have to miss fifteen days of competition, which would make him return on the eve of the match against the Parisians. The Madrid squad will do everything possible so that he can play this game because Marcelo, his substitute, has only started three games since the start of the season.

On the contrary, the French striker, Karim Benzema, would be present, whose injury to the biceps femoris is less serious than announced. He could even return to the field this week.
