The starting XI for PSG vs. Real Madrid according to the French press

PSG and Real Madrid meet this Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16. For this first act in the Parc des Princes, Mauricio Pochettino will have to line up a team without Sergio Ramos, absent for a long time, but on the other hand he can count on Neymar or even Gueye, although neither of them is aiming to start.

In its edition of the day, the French press fully agrees on the starting eleven that the Argentine coach will line up in a few hours for this PSG vs. Real Madrid with, in particular, Donnarumma and Paredes announced in this eleven in 4-3-3.

In the Parisian goal, it is therefore Gianluigi Donnarumma who should start, although Le Parisien raises doubts with Navas, supported by a defensive line made up of Hakimi, Marquinhos, Kimpembe and Mendes, from right to left.

In front of the defense we would find Paredes as a pivot, Danilo as an inside player on the right and Verratti as his counterpart on the left. In attack, Paris should also start in the classic with Mbappé on the left, Messi on the axis and Di María on the right.

PSG's line-up against Real Madrid according to the press: Donnarumma - Hakimi, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Mendes - Danilo, Paredes, Verratti - Di Maria, Messi, Mbappé.

Real Madrid's line-up against PSG according to the press: Courtois - Carvajal, Militão, Alaba, Mendy - Modric, Casemiro, Kroos - Asensio, Benzema, Vinicius.

On the Real Madrid side, there are hardly any doubts about the composition for the French press, in particular because Karim Benzema is finally in a position to start and therefore should be.

Ahead of Courtois in goal, it is Carvajal, Militão, Alaba and finally Ferland Mendy who should start in defense from right to left. Mendy, also hesitating for a while, should start the game. In the middle will be the well-known trio formed by Casemiro, Kroos and Modric.

In attack Vinicius is expected on the left while on the right there is a doubt between Asensio and Rodrygo, Le Parisien placing the Brazilian in his eleven.
