Marco Verratti recently gave a long interview for the newspaper L'ÉQUIPE, in which various topics were discussed, including his experience in Ligue 1.
"I grew up in Ligue 1. I love it. This league taught me a lot", he declared before launching a comment to defend the highest category of French football: "When I see players arrive without knowing it, many times they tell me that it is not easy. It is not a league that is seen as it deserves, but it is a very difficult championship", he concluded.
The Italian midfielder came to PSG from Pescara, from Serie B, in 2012. Verratti's only experience in the first division is precisely in Ligue 1.
